We teach you how to turn an idea into a project, a start-up, or even a full-fledged company. We help you find mentors, contacts, and opportunities, and we open doors to the real world of business and research. CTTZ acts as an incubator for entrepreneurship and innovation:

  • Education:
    • workshops and training on entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer
    • a new study subject: Start-up Management
    • development of presentation and pitching skills
  • Support for Innovative Ideas:
    • mentoring (in cooperation with ICUK and external mentors)
    • professional consultations (technology, law, business)
    • assistance with project preparation and market entry
  • Start-ups and Spin-offs:
    • support in founding start-ups
    • connecting with investors and companies
    • involvement in pilot commercialization projects
  • Connecting with Practice:
    • networking events (e.g., “Opportunity Fair” / Jarmark příležitostí)
    • contact with companies and the application sphere
    • involvement in real-world innovation projects

Strategic Expansion for Students:

Your idea doesn’t have to stay just in a term paper. CTTZ UJEP is the place where theory meets practice. It doesn’t matter if you are studying chemistry, art, economics, or social sciences – innovation can arise in any field.

  • A Safe Environment for Experiments: The university is an ideal place to start a business. We offer you a “safe harbor” where you can test your ideas with minimal risk. We teach you how to fail fast and cheap, or how to succeed on a large scale.
  • Start-up Management (Course): This course is not just about theory. It is a practical workshop where you work on your own project under the guidance of industry experts. You earn credits for building your own future.
  • Networking with Impact: Thanks to our connection to the Innovation Centre of the Ústí Region (ICUK) and regional companies, we get you to people you would hardly reach as a “mere student.” Your UJEP student business card, backed by CTTZ, opens doors to investors and future partners.
  • Interdisciplinary Teams: We help connect students across faculties. A programmer from the Faculty of Science needs a marketer from the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies and a designer from the Faculty of Art and Design. We are the glue that brings you together.
