Technology and Knowledge Transfer Center (CTTZ)

Technology and Knowledge Transfer Center addresses the research and development potential at UJEP. It is a specialized workplace at UJEP established to provide university-wide support for knowledge and technology transfer activities, including comprehensive assistance in choosing and securing the appropriate form of protection for intellectual property assets.

Since September 2024, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University has been a member of the Transfera.cz association, which advocates for the interests of the transfer community in the Czech Republic with the aim of strengthening and developing activities in the field of technology and knowledge transfer.

CTTZ is responsible for the following activities:

• Commercialization of science and research results
• Intellectual property management
• Education in the field of technology transfer
• Contract research
• Collaborative research
• Spin-off companies
• Know-how
